Strong Bodies, Strong Minds Campaign
This fall, Even Ground is urgently raising funds to support its grassroots programs in South Africa that deliver essential services to some of the world’s most vulnerable children.
Our projects provide high quality education and nutrition to over 20,000 children, families, and community members who would not have received those services without our help.

The economic and social impact of COVID has worsened a crisis of poverty in South Africa, one of the most unequal societites in the world.
In South Africa, it is estimated that 60% of South Africans live in poverty which disproportionally affects the historically disadvantaged black African, coloured, and Indian populations. South Africa also has the 6th highest unemployment in the world.
A recent study found that 80% of South African schools cannot provide learners with the necessary skills they require. Lack of adequate nutrition and schooling early in life creates lasting consequences for individual and community development and sustainability.
About Even Ground
Even Ground strives to help families and communities break the cycles of poverty and inequality by providing support to community-based programs that offer high-quality education and care to young people in Africa.
Through an investment portfolio approach, we provide financial resources, management services, opportunities for cross project collaboration, assistance with securing additional sources of funding, and pathways for capacity building.
On average, our programs have increased service coverage by over 50% within the first years of working with Even Ground.
