This fall, Even Ground is urgently raising funds to support 8 grassroots programs in South Africa that deliver essential services to some of the world’s most vulnerable children.
Join NBC Correspondent Geoff Bennett and author Efosa Ojomo virtually on October 21st to discuss African economic development in a post-pandemic world.
This will occur as a teleconference accessible via Zoom on October 21st at 6:30PM EST.
This dire situation already compounds the fate of the most vulnerable in the country. 50% of young people live below the poverty line. South Africa has the 6th highest unemployment rate in the world. It ranks 137th out of 139 countries on quality of public education and last in quality of mathematics and science education. South Africa has the highest population of people living with AIDS in the world at 7.1 million.
Even Ground strives to help families and communities break the cycles of poverty and inequality by providing support to community-based programs that offer high-quality education and care to young people in Africa.
Through an investment portfolio approach, we provide financial resources, management services, opportunities for cross project collaboration, assistance with securing additional sources of funding, and pathways for capacity building.
On average, our programs have increased service coverage by over 50% within the first years of working with Even Ground.
Every dollar counts. 100% of external donations go to our programs.
